I just bought 2 wordpress sites with some posts in the databases. I want to use them but i don't know how to log in into the control panel. The guy who sell them to me, say "I don't know any passwords, i forgot it, because this sites are being not in use for long time". I found 2 useames with admin privilegies in the wp_users table, but the passwords are encrypted. Can i decrypt them, or do something else to use databases ?, ...ادامه مطلب

The top of the page has a photo slider, below that is a blank space (that says the word "Home"), followed by a Yellow bar going the width of the window. A similar thing is happening at the bottom of the page - below the "Contact Us" is a blank area, followed by a small black bar. It is those blank areas (the one that says "Home" at the top of the page, and the one below the "Contact Us") that I am trying to get rid of. I figure this would work with CSS, but I am VERY un-knowledgeable in that area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. After updating to WordPress 4.6, my wordpress admin has become so slow. However, sometimes, it's goes back to regular speed too. I decided to test if it was a plugin issue but soon realized the inconsistencies in the results when testing. Eg. I deactivated all the plugins. Even before activating one plugin at a time, I started testing by clicking on tabs. Sometimes it loads fast, sometimes it loads slow. I tried to click on the same tabs eg post. Sometimes it takes 2 secs to load, at times it takes more than 10 secs.Since the problem exists even when all plugins are deactivated, does it mean it's not a plugin issue? My website is also sometimes fast and sometimes slow but not necessarily the same time as when the wordpress admin is slow or fast. Thanks for sharing this plugin with the community. It sounds like a very useful idea. I was testing the plugin. It seems that if I locked a user's access to expire their temporary account, they would still be able to use password reset form to regenerate a new password and login. To permenantly delete a user's access their temporary login needs to be deleted as well. I'm having a problem where my members are not able to reset their own password, causing them to not retu and extra work for me doing it manually. I've seen a lot of forums talking about TML (which I no longer use) and caching (not doing) being issues, so I'm thinking the problem is SendGrid. Tried looking through support here, with no solutions, so here I am. I've attached a screenshot of my test to myself. You may notice that when I hover over the password reset link, a huge long sendgrid URL shows at the bottom of the browser. Also, if I copy and paste the link into the browser, it works. And after doing that, if I go back to the same email and click on the link, then it works too. I'm in the process of trying to set up multisite. I am unable to sync my users on my sub-domains. All Users show up in my Dashboard of the main site, BUT in phpMyAdmin wp-users there is only one user listed. I'm not understanding how they can all show up on the Dashboard when they are not listed in wp-users. Any ideas? First off, are you 100% certain you've logged in to the same database? Boy, you're sharp!!!! I am just in the process of finding that I had two databases that were very similar bbvsf_user and bbsvf_users I have deleted the one that only had me in it, but now I'm trying to figure out how to get the sites to find the correct one. I'm reinstalling user-sync plugin but so far no luck. Thank you! If you are using cPanel, there should a list of all your databases for your review. When I go on, the theme sidebars are gone alltogether. Only my custom sidebars remain and they are locked. I cannot open them or edit the content in them. They are up on the pages they belong to. The widgets will not drag over to make custom sidebars. I have an aspect 2011 theme. The "new sidebar" button is gone. I can't do anything. The page is just stuck as it is. No editing or changing or deleting anything. I am freaking out and I need help. I would even be okay setting back the default sidebar/widget page. At least I could start over. I really need help. I don't know what happened. I must have accidentally pressed something accidentally pressed something where? Theme files? core files? I have an aspect 2011 theme.
