alphabetie on "[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Jetpack Facebook like box not displaying on Chrome"

Hi, I've read through the other closed threads on this topic and tried all of the suggested remedies. I've cleared cache and browser history, disabled adblocker, etc and still the Jetpack Facebook widget is not displaying on any of my websites when I view them in Chrome.

Also, it seems to me that it's a problem if everyone visiting my site has to clear their browser history before they can see the widget. Not that this helped in my situation, I'm just saying that that doesn't seem like much of a real fix.

The Facebook Like Box appears to be displayed properly on my end:

There are typically 2 things that can block the Facebook Like Box from being displayed in your browser:

• Browser extensions like Adblocker, as you mentioned, as well as other tracking and anti-virus extensions. You can try to access your site in an incognito window, where extensions aren't loaded, to make sure the problem isn't linked to one of your browser extensions. If that doesn't help, you might want to check your anti virus software settings as well, as some Anti virus include an option to block Social Network widgets.
• Could you check your Facebook Page settings, and make sure you didn't restrict access to the page to specific Facebook users (from a specific country, or above a certain age). When you add such restrictions, people who're not logged in to a Facebook account won't see any Like Box on your site.

I don't think clearing your browser history would ever help in such situations, so it's okay not to suggest it to your readers :)

Thanks, Jeremy. For some reason the Chrome Remote Desktop extension was preventing me from seeing the Facebook widget....strange but fixed.
