Is it possible to disable the lightbox completely? I want my gallery to only link to pages I put URLs in for and do nothing otherwise.

It's really simple. You can define link for every image in Images manager section. When you click on some image on the right side you'll see additional options for the image. There you'll have link field. You can specify there your link.
