djdrumn on "[Plugin: Theme My Login] Lost Password URL goes to backoffice link"

ساخت وبلاگ

Hi,

All redirects are working perfectly, except the link that goes inside the email when we request a new password.

I have the "Emails" module activated by the way and when I request a new password, the link that goes to user is the backoffice link and I don't want that, I want user to have the custom resetpass page.

What can be causing this and how can I fix this?

Thanks.

Best regards,
Pedro Lima

Be sure that the Password Reset page exists.

Hi Jeff,

I thank you for your answer and yes, it could be as simple as that. But unfortunately it's not!

I have created password reset page, request password, deleted one and left the other, etc...

Already tried a lot of things and it simply never goes to that page.

I also noticed that it's hardcoded (originally) to go to wp-login (I don't remember in which file now).

Any more ideas?

Thanks.

Did the plugin not create the pages when it was activated?

It did, but then I've deleted those pages and created them again.

I event went directly to DB and changed the post ID for that "resetpass_form" meta field (I guess that's the correct name) to the ID of the page I had calling the resetpass form, but even though it didn't worked!

I don't understand why you would delete them. By any means, be sure that the current page you wish to use for the action has a custom meta field of _tml_action set to lostpassword.
