I would like to make the phone number in the header clickable so that users can call from their smartphones with a single tap.

How do I make that number clickable?

Use following code in

You will need to replace your number in code.

This is the correct way, go to Editor,Edit Theme,Theme Header(header.php)
and add this line:

<a href="tel: <?php echo of_get_option('phone_number'); ?> "> <?php echo of_get_option('phone_number'); ?> </a>
