Would appreciate that, but I know you're doing this without pay so we do understand how it goes even though we do get frustrated trying to keep websites running with the problematic WordPress plugin environment. Do you have a donate button somewhere?

FYI, your plugin worked great before WP 4.5. Now with WordPress 4.5 it creates the cache folders on our server but will not write to them, even though they are set to 777. I tried it on two different websites.

Also, do you know of any other plugins that simply make a gallery from a folder filled with images, that automatically updates? I couldn't find anything but yours.

We are using this to display a folder that has still images updated automatically from a security camera. We need it to be simple and reliable, and not require a user to fiddle around creating a gallery as with the other hundreds of "Gallery" plugins.
