Christiaan Conover on "[Plugin: Featured Image Caption] Remove caption link to image (only link Attribution Text to Attribution URL)"

I love what this plugin does but would like to only link the Source Attribution Text to the Source Attribution URL. I do not want my Caption Text to link to the image attachment/file (which in the theme I am using opens the image in a lightbox over the feature image). Can you please let me know how I can adapt the CSS or plugin settings to achieve this.

If you're setting the source attribution URL, that only creates a link around the source attribution text. If you're seeing a link also around the caption text, I'm not sure where that would be coming from.
