Customer has a web person that went MIA, can't contact him for weeks, won't retu calls. Not even sure if he's alive. Customer as to take site and move to a different host and get away from above mentioned person.

I have all of the website content. It all runs great locally. I want to move this content onto a new host. All I have is the files and folders though. I do not have a database file or XML file. I have no admin access to current WordPress blog or hosting Cpanel.

As I said it all runs and functions great right from the local folders I have. How should I go about moving over. Will be using godaddy as new host.

You do need a copy of the database. I suggest you review Moving_WordPress before you proceed any further.

I have no way of getting database. Why would it work locally if I dont have a database right now? Can I create a new site and new database and move the code or files over?
