calimeraweb on "Membership 2 - Update Expiry date manually"

After upgrading to Membership 2, everything went awry on my membership site. I tried to resetup everything and follow instructions but having a lot of issues with members that signed up originally before the upgrade.

The reoccuring payments from existing members have the old IPN url and this is not editable via Paypal for existing payment profiles. So it means everyone has to cancel and resign-up.

However, now I need to manually go in and resetup people to have a different expiry date, so that I can explain the situation.

Question - how do I manually edit the expiry date for users with the subscription? I get an error page when I try to edit the date in the user, subscription details.

Can I go in the database? It seems the info in my database looking through phpmyadmin is completely not updated...

not sure what to do and would appreciate any insight.
