As I mentioned earlier, I don't know how the theme works, so I'm only able to make guesses. It seems that the way the links get into the Portfolio section is to create a post or page with a category of portfolio and it automatically gets added in. Can you use a different section for the Portfolio, one that allows you to add your own images?

The way I do is go to portfolio > add new portfolio > add feature image > then it shows up on the home-page's portfolio [theme] block and the page, which is automatically filled with those images [featured image] is shown up front and when we click it, it takes to another page of that media link. What I want is that I don't want the click to work on the home-page's portfolio section and the portfolio [page], instead upon clicking I want it to open up and show a zoomed image.

Like the way it's zooming in when I click this image in the same theme: http://ninjacreativity.com/portfolio/dpgs-logo/

And about adding the image in the post. Yes, I can add the image inside that post and put a feature image too. That feature image comes out on portfolio's cover/feature image and the image I insert in the post, gets open (another web-page) when the cover/feature image is clicked. Instead of that happening, I want the image which is inserted to be zoomed in (lightbox sort of) when featured image is clicked. Just like the example, I posted in previous post.

Here's how the image post thing looks like:

I think you are going to have a very difficult time trying to get the portfolio section on the home page to do what you want it to do. You are going to have to dig into the theme code to see how the different elements are being output, and then change that code to match the output in the single post page (basically output an anchor tag with the right lightbox classes). Your best bet, in my opinion, is if the theme allows you to insert your own section on the home page, a section that will allow you to add your own HTML or widgets. You can then use that section as your portfolio section.

Instead of that can I have that option in only portfolio area? That whenever someone clicks an item (picture) on the portfolio's page, it doesn't link him to another page. Instead that specific image should be opened 'zoomed' like light-box feature in the same link. As I don't want my portfolio images to be linked to another page, instead want the images to be zoomed [light-box type] when clicked.

If you want to have that work in the portfolio area, then, as I mentioned earlier, you are going to have to dig into the code that controls that area and figure out what HTML gets output, and make your changes there. It is not going to be easy to accomplish that if you are not familiar with the theme's code.

That means I need to dig into the code and figure things out? Isn't there any other way? Any plugin or something that might help?

Yes, that's what you will have to do, because you are trying to change the way the portfolio section works. It is outputting an image with a button link inside, as well as the overlay that slides up over the image on mouse hover, and you want it to output a link (anchor) tag around the image like in your single post page. I don't know of any plugin that will do what you want. That's why I suggested using or adding a different section, if possible, that will allow you to add your own HTML or widgets.

Alright. Thanks a lot for your help, pal. :)

@CrouchingBruin

Remember the header thing you solved for me? The over-lay bar thing? It's having problem within the blog post's layout.

Here's an example:

Can you help me with that?

Add this rule:

.article-single { padding-top: 204px;
}
