Sorry for the delay. I am currently on vacation, and not around a computer much.

We had released this plugin back when there wasn't support for taxonomy term meta queries. I was actually one of the contributing members to the patch. So we released this plugin as an alteative solution while that patch was being worked on and added to core.

Now that the proper functions are built into WordPress - we should really go back and update the functions within, specifically the one you mention - and use the appropriate functions now built into WordPress.

When I get back into the office and at my computer, I can take a look into this and make the necessary changes - and push out an update as needed.
