Detecting the main shop page is a bit like detecting the WP static page -- you need to test for it. ;-)

Although WPSSO is not an "SEO" plugin, it does do most / all SEO meta tags (and obviously excels at all the other social meta tags) -- the WPSSO Pro version includes extensive support for 3rd party plugins, like WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, All In One SEO Pack, etc. You may want to check that out. ;-)

Full disclosure: I'm the author of WPSSO, so obviously I would know about the particulars of supporting WooCommerce, but also have a slight bias for WPSSO as the perfect meta tag plugin. ;-)
