For now, download a new copy of WordPress: https://wordpress.org/download/

Then, edit the wp-config-sample.php file with a plain text editor: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_Files#Text_Editors

Most important is that you get the database name, user, password, and host correct: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Set_Database_Name

Generally, you can get these from the MySQL (or Databases, or MySQL Databases) section of your hosting account's control panel (you may need to consult your hosting provider's documentation for this).

It's possible that the database user's password will not be readily available, and in that case just reset the database user's password or create and assign a new database user to the existing database (again, you may need to consult your hosting provider's documentation for this), then provide that new info the wp-config-sample.php file that you're editing.

When those four bits are done, save the file as wp-config.php and upload it to your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account's control panel.

That will get WordPress talking to your database again at least. Without a backup though, it's impossible to know what other modifications you may have made to the original wp-config.php file, so ask your hosting provider if they have a backup.

When all of this is done, I highly recommend keeping your own backups: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
