My photos on my blog posts seem to have a filter on them, they seem more dull (lacking colour) once uploaded to a post as compared to the original photo. Any code to change that?
Thanks!

From inspecting your code, I can only see a box-shadow on top of your images, both left & right sides of the image are shaded slightly.
You can remove this using CSS:
.featured-image .shadow { display: none; }
As with all custom code changes, you should do so either using a Child Theme, or a Custom CSS plugin. This ensures your custom code is preserved should you update the main theme in the future.
Hope this helps.
Hi northsouthblonde,
the code provided by ThemeSumo will make your featured images not clickable anymore, which probably isn't what you want.
If you want to remove the shadow, you could add this instead:
.featured-image .shadow { box-shadow: none; }
Thank you both, I'm not sure if I can get that technical with a "child theme".
I will stick to what I have so far, but my issue still hasn't been resolved:
It isn't the featured image that seems "shadowed", it's all of the images in a post such as this one:

Hi @northsouthblonde,
Could you point me to the specific images that seem "shadowed" to you?
I took a look at the post you linked to and, using its first image as an example, this looks the same here as it does within the post to me:
http://i0.wp.com/northsouthblonde.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/IMG_4000.jpg?resize=663%2C442
I'm not able to see any shadow.
Perhaps you could create a screenshot of the specific images that you're seeing the shadow effect on?
Thanks!
okay, let me clarify, the images are not as vibrant in that specific post only when I open my webpage in google chrome.
