azfy22 on "Create custom styled post on page"

I would like to create a custom styled post which will appear on a page of my WordPress instance. One that is styled so the post is full width along the page, with the featured image in the left column and the post title and text on the right column. How would I go about achieving such a thing? If anyone could set me straight, I would appreciate it.

I have created a static mock-up of this on my test site at test4.31stline.com ; Please refer to the content directly below the "News & Upcoming Events" title. This is exactly how I would like to create this.
