metaverse nonsense

I think the metaverse and all this NFT stuff is just a convenient way to distract people from the fact that they cant afford to live a normal life. Who needs a real house when you can have a virtual house, who needs a real car when you can have a virtual car and so on. Its a way for the elites to quell the masses because eventually people will start to get angry that they dont own anything.
