The PayPal checkout process isn't working, but the credit card process is working. Is there some fix for this? When I click on PayPal, nothing shows except the title.

Thanks for your response. When I click "Place Order" after clicking paypal, it says this at the top:

Error: PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce. Please try again later or use another means of payment.

That's helpful. Thank you! Can you first make sure the plugin is up to date, then go into the PayPal Powered by Braintree Settings and select Save Changes without making any changes to the settings.

After doing the above, let me know if you're still seeing the error.

Hi Mike,

I updated the plugin & then selected save changes in the settings. That didn't do anything so I disconnected from Braintree & reconnected to Braintree. That also didn't do anything. Now when I click Place Order, it doesn't show the error message & doesn't do anything else. The place order button just acts like a broken button.

If you go to WooCommerce > System Status > SoapClient, do you see a checkmark?

If not, that may be the cause of the issue. The SoapClient class needs to be tued on in the PHP configuration.

If you're not sure how to do that, your site host should be able to set that up for you.

Have you already tried deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and PayPal Powered by Braintree, and using a default theme?

Have you triple-checked all credentials you've entered?

Thanks. I just submitted a ticket (#407937). I tried deactivating all of my plugins & using a deffault theme, but it sill didn't work.

Any help is much appreciated.

Even though you might be experiencing the same issue, the solution may differ.

If you've already tried following the steps I outlined and are still having an issue, follow the steps above for submitting a ticket.
