kuby on "Issues getting WP Retina 2x to work with MadeByMinimal "Made" Theme"

Hello,

I've installed the plug-in, walked through your tutorial, and now played around with different settings for the last few hours and I cannot get the retina images to display.

I can load images into the media library, and I'm seeing the blue marks to signify that the retina images are being created. When I load them into galleries on the pages, though, they still show up as low res.

I tried all of the different display options outlined in the tutorial but none of them have worked. Any idea what might be happening?

Hello Kuby! Your website is using full-size image directly. Basically you can't do much with this or optimize your website. Your page is very heavy and will basically look nice on Retina or not depending on the screen size and the original size of the image you upload. But the bigger this image is, the slower it is. You can ask your theme developer for recommendations. Cheers!

Hey Jordy! They have a setting built into the theme to show full-size images which I didn't want to utilize, but have chosen to since using any of the other sizes available makes my images look bad on retina devices. You are right that now it looks good on all devices but this is not the optimal situation. How much work is it to get your plugin to operate with a theme's sliders/galleries? I would love for it to work with mine.
