tsure on "WAMP - server DNS address could not be found"

Hi,

I have just loaded WAMP onto my PC for the first. All went well and the 'W' icon is green.

The only problem is that if I try to load one of my projects from the Localhost menu I get 'my-site’s server DNS address could not be found'.

If I go to the URL area of the browser and precede the 'mysite' with 'localhost/' the site loads OK. So, somwehow the WAMP Localhost config page does not know to do this.

Anybody know where I can set this up?

Hi Paul,

I am not sure I understand your question correctly, but can you type in the URL you are hitting in the browser window here?

Shouldn't it look something like: http://localhost/project ?

Also, have you looked at this tutorial below ? It may be helpful in your case since the video shows some changes made in the config files of the WAMP server :
