There are many WordPress plugins where there are many free things. Something such as video tutorials being free is common. It's for the community. To HELP people.
But they want you to pay an absurd price even for what most developers happily give away for free.
First, the video tutorials are part of the Pro version upgrade, so this isn't a review of the free .org version. There actually is a very long and comprehensive video tutorial on the .org plugin page, and there is loads of free documentation on our website.
How much more work should we have to do for you for free? You already get a free plugin, documentation, video, and if you look at the .org forums, you'll see that we resolve 100% of the support threads.
