Bart Pluijms on "[Plugin: WooCommerce Upload My File] Intermittent zero byte file uploads"

ساخت وبلاگ

Hello,

I'm using your plugin to allow users to upload an image with their orders, and for the most part it's working fine, but on the odd occasion (so far 2 out of 40 orders) the uploaded image is just an empty file (the file size is 0 bytes).

Are you able to shed any light on what is going on here and what I need to do to fix it?

I'm using the latest version of your plugin, WordPress and Woocommerce. My Apache version is 2.2.29, my PHP version is 5.4.38. And I'm only at 60-70% of my disk usage quota.

Hello Sipitai,

Sorry for the delayed response.

We do not have any idea what could cause this issue.

Maybe the user has moved away from the page BEFORE the file was completely uploaded?
Best regards,
Bart

Hi Bart,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I tested that scenario in Chrome on Windows 7 which resulted in the file not being uploaded at all.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if different operating systems / browsers / devices handled things differently, so that might still be the issue.

I'll start logging this information and see if it highlights any pattes.

Hi Sipitai,

We're also doing some tests, but until now we can not reproduce this problem on the Apache and PHP version you are using.

Please keep us informed so we can help you any further.
Best regards,
Bart
