Karilee on "[Plugin: Wordfence Security] Wordfence Firewall on GoDaddy Shared Hosting Won't Install"

Any suggestions on how to install the WordFence firewall, when on Godaddy shared hosting?

I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried the 5 choices in the dropdown, and the alteate method of editing the php.ini. I've tried adding Setenv to the .htaccess as you suggest on your docs page at https://docs.wordfence.com/en/Web_Application_Firewall_Setup. I don't have any other security plugins, but I tried disabling all plugins except WordFence and that didn't work either.

No matter what I do (or how long I wait) I get: "The changes have not yet taken effect."

Since GoDaddy shared hosting is probably one of the largest possible configurations, any suggestions? Other than changing hosts, which I realize this question might attract.
