saoire on "[Plugin: Yoast SEO] snippet editor & content analysis not working in posts"

ساخت وبلاگ

Hi, I'm using the spacious free theme, everything seems to work perfect on the pages, I'm only having the issue with the blog posts. There is a bar to add a keyword but when I do it doesn't take effect. The snippet editor and content analysis show up as blank!

Any advice? I'd really appreciate any help

I seem to be able to add an seo title and description if I go into bulk editor, but again this has no scoring and doesn't show up as actually haven taken effect

Hi guys,

I encounter the same problem! The snippet editor and content analysis for posts (only) don't display (however for pages there is no problem), so I can't modify anything.

I'm using Yoast SEO 3.1.2.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Same issue here, only fix was to rollback to older version of the plugin.

Hi Duncan,

Thanks for your help!
Can you just tell me what version works for you?

Same here since this moing, it is all gone. No snipped editor or focus word, no seo information, all information under titles and metas ALL GONE

Version 3.0.7 seems to work fine. That could be worth trying.

That's great, thank you...does rolling it back affect any of the info already added to the main pages?

For me it kept the info, so that's good news but it asked me to deactivate the sitemap...

The problem seems to be tracked on their bug tracker. Hope someone will be assigned to fix it quickly!

I'm after contributing my pennies worth to github also, with a link back to this page. Perhaps the more people contribute and flag this up, the closer to a (proper) fix we are :)

Hi saoire,
It shouldn't remove any of the info, but I would suggest backing up you database prior to any changes to be on the safe side.

Hey, there... I ended up testing the plugins for conflicts...by switching them all off apart from yoast and tuing them on one by one, then going back to my posts page to check if it was still working. When I found the conflict, I emailed the guys told them about my issue with the plugin and they gave me instructions to add a bit of code to my php. Problem solved!

A bit of a leaing curve and a lesson leaed as the plugin I had installed wasn't tested with my theme.

Wasted many many hours trying to solve this, so I won't be doing that again!
