If you are using Firefox, it's a known issue in Firefox 45. Mozilla developers will be working to solve the bug.

This feature has been working fine since a year on 3 different websites with Firefox until I updated to WordPress 4.4.2 so this is not related to this web browser at all !?!

Is there any fix for this ?

This is considered as a regression in Firefox 45 which was released 3 weeks ago. The fix is on the way. Mozilla is tracking the issue in Bug 1259482.
