Melissa from The Theme Foundry on "[Theme: Make] Making a "featured in" or "trusted by" section in Mak"

I want to create a section on my front page like most business or brands have where they show "featured in" or "trusted by" sections with a bunch of logos or names of companies (300x300px png maybe?)

However, I can't find a way to string 5 images across easily in Make. When I try to put media in the text box they don't show, and the gallery and columns elements only allow 4-across (not 5 or 6)

So first to clarify, you're not able to add images to a Columns section?

I'd consider editing the images in Photoshop or something similar so they're all one horizontal image, then adding that to a Column section configured to show a single column.

I added the images in the text-editor portion of a column section and they do not display on my homepage (see mindgames.gg they are in the section under "trusted by" there, or at least, they are in the backend but not in the front) They are 300x300px .png files.

I can't do a full horizontal image of the 5 companies strung together because then on a mobile device it wouldn't cascade down, it would just shrink into unreadability.

I tued off all plugins except "make" and there was still no way to tu off Idea on the page editor. But then I found it under "quick edit" on the "all pages" page. Thanks!!

It looks like you're trying to add them to a Gallery section item.

Use a Column section instead. :) The Gallery section won't accept images in the content editor (because images are added by clicking the image icon instead).
