Mike Walsh on "[Plugin: Google Forms] Unable to retrieve Google Form."

Dear Mike,

thank you for this amazing plugin! However, it stopped working sometime yesterday or today.

Now I always receive this error message:

"Failed to connect to docs.google.com port 443: Connection timed out
Unable to retrieve Google Form. Please try reloading this page."

I tried using a dummy form and checked whether the links are correct. So I ran our of ideas. Is this something I can fix on my end? I made some changes to the form two days ago but it worked immediately afterwards. I did not make any changes on the website.

This error means the WordPress HTTP API, which is what the plugin uses to request the form's HTML code from Google, has timed out meaning that a request was issued to Google's server and Google didn't respond. The length of time it takes for the page to load indicates that timeout is pretty long.

Is the form published on the Google Drive side? If you want to fill out my Support Form I can see if I can make your form work on my site to try and eliminate either WordPress or Google as the source of the problem.
