When a user signs up, the new user and admin are both supposed to get an e-mail. The new user usually gets one, but the web page will time out before the admin e-mail gets sent. This is an issue because admin must approve all new users. Using WP-Mail-SMTP to send mail.

It looks like there might be a redirect loop happening after the register button is clicked, as all other functions are working instantaneously. Have you specified a value for the "redirect_page" attribute in your [register] shortcode? Could you paste in the full shortcode you're using?

The shortcode looks good. What happens if you try setting the redirect_page to something else (e.g. off your site, like http://google.com), and then try a new registration? Does it redirect right away, or still loop?

[register redirect_page='http://google.com/']

I changed it to the above. Still times out.
