vomojola on "[Theme: MesoColumn] How to set home featured categories"

Please can you explain to me how to set the featured categories that show on the front page?

When I go to Customize->Customizing ▸ Home Featured Category Choose Category:

All I see are a series of drop down boxes asking how many? What does the numbers mean? Choosing 4 or 5 or 6 or any number did not affect the front page display, all articles just came up with pagination at the bottom. There are no category groupings shown.

Please enlighten me.

you should have drop down of category too. do you have category created in posts? not custom post type.

Yes, I have categories for my posts.
