Tada Burke on "Add custom taxonomies to post"

Hello all, thanks in advance for the help. I need to create a custom taxonomy for posts, and also have that displayed on the posts page just like the categories are. See the link to see exactly what I'm trying to do. WP may do this automatically when creating custom taxonomies? Just looking for someone to point me to a plugin, or in the right direction. Thanks!
