bdbrown on "VPS on bluehost problems"

I have switched from Shared host to VPS thinking that it was going to be somehow easier, it hasn't, I have been plagued with errors of all kinds, problems importing data, viewing pages, problems connecting, I have a multisite installation, Bluehost said that they don't support multisite, So just to prove the point I went ahead an installed a regular wordpress package and it was the same problem, this was with and without plugins, regular themes and everything could someone please help me with this? or should I simply look for another host, it was working fine under shared, now it's not, this honestly it's frustrating!
