Shannon W on "After adding analytics tracking id:Syntax error"

Hello.
Today after trying to insert google analytics tracking code into my child theme funtions i've got the following syntax error: syntaxerror unexpected < ; on line 13
I already tried to restore my funtions file, reuploaded my child theme and even changed my theme to the main one but the error is still there and doesnt go away even when i uploaded a new funtions child theme.
What can i do?
Im using serverpilot and digital ocean and i have not a previous backup

Look at lines 12, 13 & 14 of whatever file it is reporting.

There is obviously incorrect syntax that is breaking it

I already uploaded a new funtions.php to the childs theme file, so theres nothing anymore:
"<?php
/* ADD custom theme functions here */ "
The error is still there

The error is most likely not in the functions.php file.

Use the error message to guide you - it should tell you the file name!
