I have this message...

Education Request
1 configuration error found

The error on this page is with the To: field under the Mail tab

It shows...
To <[email]>
This field has syntax errors.

What should it read?

I have 3 additional forms with errors as well.

Thanks for your help.

1. Is the [email] mail-tag a required field in the FORM?

[email* email]

2. Have you tried without the chevrons in MAIL:

To: [email]

It is a required field in the form.

and no I have not tried it without chevrons yet.

I just tried it without the chevrons and still gives me the error message.

I am having the same problem, I have tried everything, it was suppose to email and text when a form was submitted, but it isn't doing it consistently.

From
[your-name] [text-388] <your-email>

Additional headers
Reply-To: <your-email>

@thescaryguy

Could you send screenshots of your FORM and MAIL configurations?
Also, note that usually MAIL(2) in the MAIL tab is used as an autoresponder to send a copy of the message to the person completing the form. Have you tried inserting a fixed email address such as [email protected] in the TO field of the MAIL tab, for example.

@raichelraichel

If an email is being sent from your website domain, it should now have a FROM address from that domain. This is because emails are being spoofed by spammers and are being sent from a different domain (e.g. I send you a message from my domain but claim to be sending it from paypal.com).

Try:

== MAIL ==
From: [your-name] [text-388] <[email protected]>
Additional Headers: Reply-To: [your-email]

If you want to actually see the sender's email address in the message you receive you can include it in the MESSAGE section. For example:

MESSAGE BODY:

From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
Subject: [your-subject]

[your-message]
