Hey guys,

I feel like this should be a simple but it is tuing out to be incredibly frustrating.

We have content that updates periodically(quarterly in the financial world) and sometimes we want an old piece of content to automatically get back in the newsletter (in the auto newsletter box. Not forcing our admins to put it in another box. That is not an acceptable alteative from our perspective) even though it may have been published months ago.

So I want to just build in a meta box in the post that says "Force this into the next newsletter" and then our editors don't need to worry about it from there.

My issue is that I can't determine what has to be executed on the save_post hook to actually make that work. I have been trying to figure out where I can simple grab a list of post ids slated for the next newsletter and add this one to that list. That seems like something that is relatively simple. I have been using your helpers and models and encoding everything and still cannot seem to find that incredibly elusive list of post ids for the next newsletter. Can anyone provide direction on this please? I feel like there should really be some filter or action in place to allow developers to alter this list before it goes out. But it seems hidden under piles of models and encoding, etc. Is there something I am missing? Please help.
