Is there any support for Buddypress with this plugin?

I'm using a Buddypress registration form which sends a mail with an activation link after registration. When the activation link in the mail is clicked and a user is activated no mail is sent from BNFW with 'New User Registration - For User'.

Is there also a possibility to add a shortcode for the buddypress custom fields, like bp_custom_fields?

Thanks.

Hi Joost,
Thanks for your message.

The activation email is BuddyPress specific as far as I know so not something that BNFW does out-of-the-box.
I do plan on adding BuddyPress at a later date but this will be in the form of an add-on.

Hope this helps at bit.

Thanks,
Jack

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

What I mean is that when the activation mail is send from Buddypress and the account is activated with the activation link, the new user registration mail from BNFW is not sent. When I for example use the plugin 'SB Welcome Mail' the registration mail is perfectly sent after the account is activated.

Thanks. Buddypress custom field support is very needed with a customer of mine and your plugin is superb.
Any idea when your add-n will be available? The code for implementing these buddypress fields is very simple.

Thanks,
Joost

Hi vanstra,
Ah, I see.

So, if BNFW is disabled, does the standard WordPress New User Registration email get sent?

Jack

Yep. The standard WordPress New User Registration email is sent.

Do you have a check in the function wp_new_user_notification($user_id, $depracated='', $notify = '') on $notity? Like: if ($notify && $notify != 'admin')?

I discovered that some mail plugins have this check on $notify and that $notify doesn't have a value set.

Joost

Hi vanstra,
Yes, I do.

It's:

if ( 'admin' === $notify || empty( $notify ) ) { retu;
}

Hi Jack,

I've removed the '|| empty( $notify )' check and now it is working fine. For some reason
the $notify variable is not set.
