jshock on "[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Contact form 7 fails when using domain addresses"

My forms show an error when I try to send them to an email address in my domain. For example, if I set my forms' mail "To" field to [email protected], the form gives an error: "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method." If I use [email protected] or some other address, the form works fine.

My site is hosted at Bluehost. The MX records are set to Google servers since Google is the web host. If I create the email account in bluehost for [email protected], the form shows a success message, however the email is never received (probably because the MX records ignore the Bluehost smtp).

I've contacted Bluehost thinking this was a zone record issue. They say it's a problem with the module. Any suggestions?
