Let's say I have an order that is marked complete, and now I see the customer has not paid for the items. I want to mark the order as awaiting payment without the customer getting a notification. Then I want to change the order (add a fee) and send a new invoice one.

Now, when the invoice is paid, I want to mark the order as complete again without sending the "Order complete" e-mail to the customer. Because in that e-mail it is informed that the order is going to be sent soon. But the order is already sent long ago.

Is there a difference between just changing the order status inside the Edit Order page, and using the Action-panel on the right? Will actions send e-mail, and just changing the status "manually" will not send e-mails?

I don't want to disable the completed order e-mail sitewide, just for that one particular order that one particular time. Maybe there is a possibility for adding a check box to choose if an e-mail should be sent or not when performing that specific action?
