When I active the module (payment method is deselected) The Proceed to Checkout and Coupon Title line are getting wrapped together. The Proceed to checkout button gets shortened in half and the coupon divider line is moveded up.

Sounds like there must be a CSS conflict going on with your theme. If you can provide a URL to your site I'll take a look and see if I can provide a quick CSS fix.

No problem. Its strange that it happens when you just activate the plugin and its not enabled yet as a payment method.
