Hi,
if we want use filter for wordpress to modify shortcode parameters we need to call add_filter( 'shortcode_atts_wpp').
But when shortcode_atts was calling in wordpress-popular-posts.php one parameter missing, the name of shortcode.
Is it possible to replace in line 2870 by:
),$atts,"wpp"));
