Hi
I'm considering changing the theme of my site and went to look in my installed Themes list to see what was there to start with.
When I did, I have a theme there which has the same name as my site and shows the same branding as my site, including logo and colours (as they were until recently).
How has this happened and why? I can't find the theme on any searches in WordPress or openly online and I don't understand why it's sitting in my installed themes list.
Hope someone can explain this to me!
Cheers

Everything that you see on a website can be downloaded by somebody else, there isn't a technical limitation there. Why someone did that isn't something we can answer.

Is this question about a theme that exists in your site's wp-content/themes directory?

Did a designer/developer build the site for you? - if so they have created a custom theme specifically for your site with the same name as your site, and including your specific branding details. I usually do this for my clients. Alteatively they may have not created a theme from scratch, but could have customised an existing theme and renamed it.

This would explain why you can't find the theme elsewhere - it only exists on your site and would not is not available anywhere else.
