Clayton James on "404 errors"

Switching browser dosen't help unfortunately

I wouldn't expect it to. You need to temporarily change your theme, not your browser. Log into your dashboard and go to appearance > themes > and apply the default wordpress theme. Check to see if the code at the top of your site is gone. If it is, then it's your theme that has the issue - if not, then it could be a plugin.

If it's your theme causing the error (I think it probably is) you are going to need to find the broken code and repair it, or replace the file that's causing it from a backup or a new copy. Here's where the unwanted code that is being displayed at the top of the page is coming from:

<meta name=viewport content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> ="author" href="https://plus.google.com/114516780301232316034/posts"/>

However, I can't tell you which file that is in. It may be your themes header.php or index.php, but it is definitely appearing between the opening and closing head tags.

Once you find and fix that, you may find the 404's go away. Or, they may not... But one fix may lead to another.
