Unfortunately this is not possible in the current version. I will have a look if I can make it possible in a future version.

I changed the code for the groups page in my dev version. The tables are now being build up with templates that can be changed via hooks. So this will be available from version 2.5.5 and up.

I also made an extension plugin that adds the flags to test the new templates. This only has effect in the dev version. In older plugin versions the extension will do nothing.
