rbg1163 on "[Plugin: cformsII - contact form] Required boxes are not preventing form submission"

Recently my forms that have required fields checked are showing to the user that it successfully submitted but we don't get anything in our admin email about it. I've gone to our site and just typed gibberish in one of the fields where they are several more required ones and it appears to submit with no error message to alert the user they need to fill in all required fields.
Any ideas?

Do you have default value set?

I'm not sure. I just have a field and select the box "required", but empty fields marked required don't prevent submission.

A URL with a form would be very helpful.
