Hi, the categories drop-down on the calendar view appears to show a flat list of categories and ignores the category hierarchy set up under Events, Organize.
Is there an option I am missing?

There is no option, first created category should be displayed first, etc., this is not the case on your calendar?

I think it's alpha order actually.
However, since the EventsOrganize admin screen allows the event categories to be hierarchical one would expect this to be supported in the display.
If the hierarchy is not going to be used, maybe the Parent field on Event Category should be hidden/tued off in the EventsOrganize admin screen, though a better option would be to allow it to be used..

Also, and for the same reason, in the filter drop-down, selecting a Parent category filter does not include events assigned to the child categories.
If the category hierarchy was implemented, you would expect to be able to select a root node and view all the children.
