i have spent quite some time in the suppor forums but - as it's the nature of the business - loads of information is outdated or much time has passed in the meantime and you might have added some functionalities which you were mentioning earlier in this support forum.

like others before, i'm trying to list the hierarchical taxonomies (e.g. attachment_category) according to their parent/child relation:

Parent1
- Child1.1
- Child1.2
Parent2
- Child2.1
- Child2.2

as mentioned before, i have found some other posts in this forum, asking you the very same question and you've already explained the complexity of the hierarchy taxonomies in very detail and you (and also other forum users) have also provided some php examples. you've also mentioned in some posts, that you might consider such a functionality (maybe as short code option?) in future versions of mla.

that's basically my question: have you implemented an "easy" way (easy = e.g. parameter in shortcode) to display the hierarchical structure of taxonomies (e.g. like a cloud list , dropdown, checkbox etc.) in the plugin yet?

Thank you for your question and encouragement, which comes at a good time. I am hard at work on a new MLA shortcode, [mla_term_list], which I hope will do what you are requesting.

I am traveling for the next few days, but I will post an update here when I have a new MLA Development Version for your to experiment with. It would be great to get your feedback on my efforts before I complete the project and make an official release.
