Excited to give this a try, but stopped when I realized it wanted my user/pass.

I tested on local and found it saved the password as clear text in the DB :(

I notice there is a "WPSiteSync for Content Site key", shown so I hope and trust token based authentication is coming soon?

Yes, a token based authentication is coming -- in addition to a white list of allowed Source sites on the Target system. Security is very important and is one of the areas that will be improved during the beta phase.

The authentication tokens have been implemented in our RC1 that went out yesterday.

The authentication tokens are created automatically when you enter the Target sites credentials.

Thank you for your reply. I understand how authentication tokens operate now. The issue is resolved, but I think that only the original requestor can mark it resolved.
