Looks like I'll be needing to do something a bit custom. Here is the "want" from the client.

Users would have a custom page where they can pick a "style" and a "color" globally (before going to the product catalog).

So the flow would be the user would have a page with styles and colors to choose. Once that is chosen they would continue to the product categories, add the products they want and inside the cart you would see the product, but also the options they had chosen earlier, attached to that product.

I would also need to "hide" the products or "not allow" the user to purchase a product without the user first visiting that custom style/color picker screen.

At any time the user should be able to re-visit the style/color picker page and change their options.

Any advice on how this could possibly work (custom hidden product fields?), or where to begin? I can code php and have some wordpress experience, but never dealt with woocommerce before.
