Devin Walker on "[Plugin: Give - WordPress Donation Plugin] JetPack and Give"

ساخت وبلاگ

I installed Give with JetPack already activated. Upon activation I was not able to go to any of the pages while logged in. So I uninstalled Give, deactivated all of the other plugins as instructed in another support post, and reinstalled Give. I then started adding the other plugins one at a time to determine which had the conflict. JetPack is the one that stops the show. I now do not have access to the admin pages to deactivate either plugin. I'd prefer not to uninstall unless I have no choice as both plugins have customizations that I do not want to have to repeat.

website is scer-ga.org/blog
Looking at the blog as a visitor, all the pages show. I just don't have admin access.

Hey @off1now - You're locked out of your admin? Do you have FTP or hosting access? Either way, you need to remove the plugin causing the conflict. I'd love to see what's causing the issue as Jetpack is very popular and we need to be sure we're compatible with it. However, this is the first report I've seen of a conflict with Jetpack... Which modules of Jetpack do you have activated?

I have everything active that's not paid application. I was able to copy the Give folder via FTP so the administration functions are working again after I deleted it from the server. We'd love to be able to use the program.

@off1now - are you still running into issues then? Do you think you could get ahold of the server error log? That would help a lot to pin point the exact issue.

Yes I'm still having issues, either one or the other plugin has to be disabled in order to have admin access.
I've got the error logs, how can I send it to you?

Hey @off1now - can you send it to me a devin (at ) givewp.com ?

Thanks

Thanks, email sent

Any luck? I'm at a standstill unless I delete Give.

Hey @off1now - I was just getting to respond. So, I have installed Jetpack & Give on a test site and enabled all of Jetpack's modules. The site kept working without issue. I couldn't replicate the issue unfortunately.

I would be very helpful to see the specific error causing the white screen. Your site seems to be a live site, but it's only happening in the wp-admin so if you add define(WP_DEBUG, true); to your wp-admin.php and refresh the whitescreen you should see the specific error. Let me know if that makes sense to you.
