sterndata on "Delete unused database tables"

I installed a plugin to try it out but decided against it. Deactivated it, and uninstalled it, but it left a huge number of tables in the database. I can easily tell which belonged to the plugin because it used it's own prefix rather than wp_. Can I delete these tables now without messing up any other references in the WP database given it is uninstalled?

Backup your database first just in case

If they have a different prefix, make sure you're not sharing the DB with another WordPress installation. Any plugin that creates tables for your site should use the site's database prefix.
