I have my WordPress timezone set to America/New York and all my events take place in that timezone. In my Events Calendar settings, I have Timezone mode set to "Use the local timezones for each event." When I check the box to Show timezone, the correct timezone (EDT or EST) is displayed for each event on the front end.
However, the Greenwich time difference is not correct for schema.org start and end dates. For instance, I have an event taking place on July 12 from 7:00-9:00 pm EDT. The ISO 8601 formatted date for schema markup is displayed as 2016-07-12T23:00:00+00:00 when it should be 2016-07-12T23:00:00-04:00. Furthermore, the end time is displayed as 2016-07-13T01:00:00+00:00 rather than 2016-07-13T01:00:00-04:00, which means Google sees the event as taking place on July 12-13 instead of simply July 12. Very frustrating.
Is there any way to get these ISO 8601 dates to display with the correct Greenwich time difference?
