bdbrown on "Delete Old Site"

Hello - I had someone build this site for me a while ago, and they no longer work for me. I was not given the password or login information, and cannot log in to delete the site, or even mod it if I wanted to. I now have a new site with godaddy (http://www.caraveltransportation.com/), and need this old, unfinished one removed since it is interfering with searches and comes up instead of/along with the new one. Sorry, I don't know what version it was started in.

Hi skorpionn. This forum is mainly for requests and feedback regarding WordPress. Next time you might try the https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting forum. As to your question, why not just contact the host that has the old, unfinished one and ask them to remove it?

If it were that simple, I would have done it - contact the builder/host, however, they don't work for me any more (no contact), so that's simply not possible. I was forced to do this the arduous, and tedious way. I posted the same question regarding assistance with deletion in the "correct" area of the forum. I don't use wordpress, and never will, so navigating around to find the correct area wasn't something I considered.

Well, if it's still running it has to be hosted somewhere; i.e., like GoDaddy. That's the host to which I was referring.
